Thunderbird SE preamplifier is the Special Edition of our superb Thunderbird. Thunderbird SE addresses to the most sophisticated audiophiles, has precise circuitry and uncompromised sound quality.

The preamplifier is designed as the system partner of out Black Knight Power among others.

The Thunderbird SE principal design is Single End Class A with dual mono power supply. As with other Thunderbird series components all input and output balanced signals are generated by S.A.Lab developed and produced transformers with a silver wire and composite cores optimized for audio applications.

Thunderbird SE has enhanced quality due to new volume controller, optimized power stabilizing for all amplifying stages and all new power transformer in the separate chassis.

Exclusively for Thunderbird SE we created high quality pie type transformer with low capacity and inductivity of dissipation.

Thunderbird SE output tube is the analog of C3G.

All the tubes are cryogenically treated and have 5 years guarantee.

Among the novelties is new matrix indication.

There are 5 line inputs (3 RCA, 2 XLR), 2 signal outputs (RCA, XLR), Record, Headphone and trigger outputs and operating time counter.
